Day 161



Conversation I had today with one of my teenagers.

Corey: Angie, have you ever seen the original transformers cartoon?

Me: Yeah sure, years ago.

Corey: Ok, so I was watching an episode last night and Optimus Prime and Megatron fought so hard that they fell to the core of the planet, which is organic- the planet is made of metal. And when they did that, all the sparks that Megatron had taken from the autobots went back into them, so that they could thrive and the autobots and decepticons lived in peace. But it was kinda sad because they didn't have optimus prime anymore, you know?

Me: Uh huh.

Corey: It really did say that the decepticons lived in peace with the autobots. They were created by the same thing, but the decepticons became bad and the autobots good.

Me: Kinda like the Lamanites and the Nephites?

Corey: Yeah. . . sure. Oh and there is a girl transformer, but only one and she doesn't come until WAY later. But she has more power than Megatron and Optimus Prime combined. Girl power.

Me: Totally.

Corey: Angie, so when are you gonna get married?
